DeFi Research Data Services
The reference for DeFi data.
DFRDS brings institutional-grade data infrastructure to blockchain research. Every figure is sourced directly from the chain, presented without intermediation or adjustment, and open to independent verification.
- Latest block
- 26,234,071 read from the node within the last half minute
- Lending protocols
- 5 replayed at the block, 4 distinct models
- Price venues
- 196 pools with hourly bars across Uniswap V2, Uniswap V3, Curve, and Balancer
Validated against the chain
Health factors are replayed at the block and required to match the protocol exactly, not approximately. Where a figure cannot be derived it is published as missing, with the reason, rather than estimated.
How the numbers are madeCitable by hash
Cite a value or an aggregate and it becomes a public page: the exact query, a SHA-256 of it, and the transaction behind it. A nightly check re-derives every citation and says so, in place, when one stops matching.
How citations workPinned for a classroom
An assignment stores the CSV bytes at the moment it is set, so every student works from identical data however the chain moves afterwards. The join link is the access; nobody needs an account first.
Teaching with itWhat is in the warehouse
| Dataset | What it holds | Since | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Event logs | Every log the chain emitted. Filter by event signature, by address in any role, and by block or date range. | block 0 | every minute |
| Liquidations (Aave-style) | Every liquidation call, with the debt repaid, the collateral seized, and the realized bonus against the configured one. | Jan 2023 | daily |
| Health factors (Aave-style) | Per-account health factors replicated from contract math, at each snapshot block: one monthly cross-section per ~30 days of blocks and, from P3.6, one daily cross-section per day. | Jan 2023 | weekly |
| Absorptions (Compound v3) | Compound v3 absorptions: the protocol takes the debt onto its own balance sheet rather than a liquidator repaying it. | 2022 | daily |
| Liquidations (Morpho Blue) | Liquidations in Morpho's isolated markets, where bad debt is written off against that market's suppliers alone. | Jan 2024 | daily |
| Vaults (Maker) | Per-vault collateral, debt and safety replicated from the Vat, at each snapshot block. Protocol-native units: debt is art × rate, and spot already folds in the liquidation ratio. | 2019 | weekly |
| Price bars | Hourly OHLC and volume per pool. Values are UNSCALED: token decimals apply at read, which is what the platform's own charts do. | 2020 | every 15 minutes |
| Event registry | The curated timeline as an event-study input: one row per event with its category, chains, recorded loss and recovery, the transactions and addresses that anchor it, and the source it came from. Hashes are exported complete, pipe-joined. | 2016 | weekly |
One warehouse, six ways in
Explorer
Blocks, transactions and decoded events since genesis, searchable by hash, address or event signature. Every value can be annotated or cited where it sits.
Prices
Estimated from reserves and sqrtPriceX96, never taken from an oracle. Find a pair, compare it across venues, and see the depth behind the quote.
Protocol tracking
Health factors, liquidations with the realised bonus against the configured one, and bad debt where a protocol writes it off.
Research workspace
Pages of prose, live values, transactions and charts as blocks, with version history, review comments and a verification badge that expires when the data moves.
Data downloads
Bulk CSV of the raw logs and of every derived dataset, filtered by address, event, block or date, with the row count before you commit.
API and MCP
The same data over a bearer-token REST API, and an MCP server so an agent queries through the guarded layer a person uses, never raw SQL.
For departments, desks and classrooms.
Seats for an institution, spaces for a lab, pinned datasets for a course of forty, and an audit trail your own administrators can read. Nothing in the numbers is adjusted, ours included.
